INNOCENT Heading to Steam Early Access on February 26th

Monday, February 5, 2018 Innocent is a challenging yet fun puzzle-based escape-styled VR game set in a post-apocalyptic Earth devastated by natural disasters and a particularly virulent disease. Nuclear Studio is an experienced VR developer team and this is not the first VR game they have developed. Nevertheless, it is their biggest project that, after months of tireless work, is finally getting released on Steam.

“Innocent is a puzzle adventure game with intense game storyline. We pay much attention on the puzzle design,” Nuclear Studio spokesperson said. “The dedicated mechanisms used in imaginative ways will impress player each step of the way. This is not a typical escape-the-room game, which only features a single room. Instead, you’ll need to escape from the underground in addition to finding a way to survive.”

The game is set in the year of 2218. In this time period, Earth is devastated by natural disasters caused by excessive logging and the destruction of natural resources. Unknown viruses have filled every corner of the world with raging mutated creatures. The most terrible of such viruses is known as "carbonized disease" and is the greatest threat to humanity ever known. Infection with this disease will cause a human to carbonize from the inside out without ever rotting. Embark on an adventure filled with challenging puzzles to solve and dangers to avoid, as you try to find a cure behind this terrible disease.

Innocent, developed by Nuclear Studio-an experienced developer team belongs to NinedVR. By adopting Unreal Engine 4 on the game, the developer ensures the game quality is AAA. In the circumstances of VR mode, the game is still able to maintain high-quality performance.

It is like the final scene of a disaster movie, “2012”. You will be fully immersed in a world where the fate of humanity rests solely on you. You were chosen to save humanity and the Earth. What decisions will you make? Would you give a chance to humanity to start over or would you destroy everything to let the Earth heal on its own?

Innocent will head to Steam Early Access on February 26th, 2018. If you would like to know more, the store preview page is available on Steam now:
